The Environment

The community centre is set in the middle of Finedon on Wellingborough road. We run form 2 separate rooms :

The downstairs baby room - Children aged 9 months-2 years. The room has small kitchen and service hatch ,access to toilets (included a disabled toilet ), direct access to the garden. 

The upstairs Nursery room. This can be accessed via the stairs or lift. A large room with partitions to create various areas for different activities and experiences. Kitchen and serving hatch , toilets and handwashing facilities.

A secure, purpose built outdoor area.

Children joining the breakfast, after school and holiday club will be upstairs in a designated area of the Nursery room, however all children are able to interact with each other.

Under 5's 

We operate a 'Free flow/Free choice ' policy - which enables the children to choose what they want to do. All activities are provided to enable the children to develop their skills and knowledge in all 7 areas of learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Breakfast, Afterschool and Holiday club- Children will have access to the same activities and experiences as above. There will also be age appropriate resources such as Board and card games, A quiet area, A homework table and a games consoles ( Please not that this will not be connected to the internet and games will be checked for suitability ) . Children will also be able to access the outdoor area.
